Andrea Henderson

Andrea Henderson is the race, identity, and culture reporter at St. Louis Public Radio. Her work focuses on news stories, in-depth features, and investigative pieces on topics of discrimination and economic disparities, including inequalities in housing, incarceration, and education. She has written and produced stories for NPR's Code Switch, All Things Considered and other shows, Reveal from the Center for Investigative Reporting, The Aspen Institute, ESPN’s Andscape, and PRX and The World. She has contributed to podcast episodes on felony disenfranchisement, Black maternal health, immigrant education, and bail reform. Andrea is a Regional Edward R. Murrow award-winning journalist.
